The official transfer announcement encourages players facing queues or joining now to consider a recommended server. It also supplies the following transfer plan:

Check the destination before making a transfer plan
A date alone does not tell you whether your intended move is available. Before investing more time on a temporary home server, compare your current server and target against the published limits.
- Write down the current region, faction and server. Then get the same information from the friends or Legion you want to join.
- Compare factions. If one side is Elyos and the other is Asmodians, stop treating this transfer plan as a route between them.
- Check the server category. The official matchmaking list separates Advanced Access and launch servers by region. Use the listed category rather than guessing from a character’s creation date.
- For an Early Access move, check the target category too. A commercial launch destination is excluded by the initial Early Access restriction.
- On or after 14 October, read the operational notice and in-game conditions. Confirm availability before committing. A match on the known rules still does not prove full eligibility.
For example, an Early Access Elyos player targeting an Early Access Elyos server has not contradicted those two announced limits. That is a reason to investigate the move, not proof that it is approved. An Early Access destination on the opposite faction, or a commercial launch destination, fails a confirmed limit.
Should you start on a recommended server now?
NC suggests considering recommended servers for players facing queues. If you choose one, coordinate with your group first and inspect its faction and category in the current list. Avoid promising your friends a later reunion until the destination conditions are available.
The same announcement says all instanced content, including dungeons, is cross-server. If your immediate goal is a dungeon session, check its party options before assuming you need to move your home server. The notice does not explain every grouping condition or guarantee access between regions or factions.
If the mismatch is your faction rather than your home server, use the Elyos or Asmodians decision guide to agree on the group’s choices before making another character.
Opening time, cooldown and other unanswered questions
The checked announcement does not specify a transfer button or purchase route, character-level requirement, transfer cooldown, number of free moves, destination capacity rules, exact opening hour, free-period deadline or later fee. It also does not confirm cross-region transfers or describe what happens to names, inventories and Legion membership.
Keep your transfer plan provisional. Record the current server and desired destination, then check NC’s latest instructions when the service opens. This page does not turn missing conditions into permission or invent a countdown to an unspecified opening time.
